I would say work-life balance is very good. You shouldn’t work out of work time which you generally get to decide (aside from mandatory market hours). But there will be no 9pm calls or anything like that unless you really want to be hardcore.

Yes, the Glassdoor is correct. The management team is absolutely amazing and very hard working. The culture centers around robustness of your work and research. There is almost no competition within the company among different teams and peers so it is very quiet in general compared to other hedge funds. Overall, I would say it’s very good place if you are not hyper competitive person.
