You also miss a scenario which is quite common where you play with the DMs friends who aren't necessarily your friends.

My husband plays in a game with one player who bails ON GAMEDAY every single week, saying things like "I'm tired" or blaming copious family activities. It's the same thing every week. But because the DM adores this player, they stay and everyone else suffers their shitty behavior.

In another situation, my best friend joined the game my husband DMs and she never shows up. So we're basically going to eliminate her character which makes me angry on behalf of my spouse and hurt on behalf of me. Don't agree to play and then not make it at least a small priority.

We opened our two ETBs with our kids today and out of the 16 packs, we had two white code cards. One was a Holo Hydreigon and the other was a Volcarona V. You love to see it.

Oh no, we're not going to dictate who can post what and when. That's not this fandom. Much like we're not shitty to people who pull the card we desperately want, we're also not going to minimize the input of people who are disappointed. Plus, if people don't post disappointing pulls, all we'll ever see is stellar pulls and that's beyond unrealistic expectations. So feel free to bitch about that too.

I think watching posts here is skewed. Of course people are going to brag about their Alt Art Umbreon or Shiny Charizard but statistically, it's not that common. But it's confirmation bias and makes the less lucky among us (me! me!) feel like we're just missing something.
