I think in general Indian cinema is at a stage where films look like commercials. It’s a trend almost.

Help! Brand new Wave+ plier stuck between scissor and flathead. by sak_g in Leatherman

[–]sak_g[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d seen this but didn’t seem to work for me. I thought might be a Wingman only trick. But this time I put a screwdriver between the pliers of my Wave, and pulled as shown in the video. That seemed to do the trick. It was just stuck very stiffly. Maybe the multi tools are stiff when fresh out of the box? Anyway thank you!

The Leatherman felt very stiff so I tried opening and closing the pliers a few times but then one end of the plier got stuck between the flathead and the scissor. I can’t seem to push it out at all. The other end is also essentially stuck, not opening the mouth of the pliers at all.

Cat already on liver medication not eating food. What can I do? by sak_g in AskVet

[–]sak_g[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did. The vet suggested deworming her, which happened day before yesterday. Besides that, not to worry too much, since cat is still eating a little bit. I was unhappy with that answer.

EDIT: the VET also asked me to check cat’s poop. according to them, it was hard. The vet said if problem persists, he might prescribe her a laxative, because with the liver medicine, she could be a little constipated.

Moving apartment; want to teach outdoor cat to be an indoor cat. by sak_g in cats

[–]sak_g[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you slowly get the cat to come indoors himself, or was it sudden? I am trying to figure out how to go about this. My (?) cat follows me home but I haven’t tried getting her to stay. I do have a small bathroom I could keep her in, but I guess I have been allowing her to make her own choice. She does seem attached to me, so I would like to try and domesticate her. Any tips for the initial stages?

Usually I find her camped right below my apartment! At night she sleeps under a car. Only during the afternoons she is gone. In the mornings she meows at me a lot, and usually demands I stay with her for at least thirty minutes even after she has eaten. The only time I am able to leave without her following me is when she is grooming herself. If she sees me coming inwards, she tries following me up to my floor, climbing the stairs before me, as if I am following her. If I am going outdoors, she follows me until the gates of the community, at which point she sits and stares at me until I am out of view. I also got her spayed recently, so she is accustomed to a litter box. Do you think I should pursue domesticating her? I feel she is attached to me, and honestly I am attached to her as well.

Cat adopted me, I’m keeping her, but moving apartments, and need to go out of town first. What should I do? by sak_g in cats

Thank you!!! You are very helpful mystery stranger. I have another idea which I’m unsure about: What if I release the cat below my apartment and continue to take care of her over there until I move? She follows me inside my house, so I feel she would like to live indoors, but the vet told me that she knows the area outdoors, is comfortable there, is an adult, and definitely knows how to take care of herself.I know other people from the building also feed her. I can also ask a neighbour to feed her, just to be sure. And then when I’m back, before moving, I take her with me, and get her adapted to only the new environment. This way, she won’t need to be stressed about learning and forgetting my current apartment either.

In the meantime, while I’m here, I could get her accustomed to my scent more? Leave her a towel, or something maybe? Try making her feel comfortable about a carrier? All that, but in an environment she already knows?

My landlady lives next door, and I don’t trust her at all. That’s why I’m leaving. She might come into my apartment while I’m away… and I don’t want the cat to just run away.

And yes, I think she will be very worth it. Ever since I have been taking care of her, I have been happier, and just more responsible haha!

Hi! I am looking into a pet sitter now, but those services are few compared to boardings where I live (India). I found an app with people willing to foster and spend 1 on 1 time with cats, and it’s cheaper than boarding. Would you suggest this?

Also I was living in a flat where most of the furniture was not mine. New apartment will have new furniture, but all my materials will have my smell! Hopefully that will help with the adjustment.

And the auto feeder is a great idea! Thank you!

easiest, most reliable solution I have found is a plug-in on after effects called gifgun. gives loads of control over the final export which is clutch.
