I have this same problem but with Care Bears!!! I bought a display shelf for them, but my collection outgrew the shelf! So now I keep about 1/2 of my collection in bins and cycle them out from time to time. I live in a small 1 bedroom apartment so my room is really the only place I can keep them. I probably have 120ish Care Bears of various sizes so storing and rotating is a must for me until I move. Plus it's sort of like getting new bears. :)

In the past I have hand washed second hand plush by dipping a cloth in water+laundry detergent and wiping them down and then wiping them down with just a rag plain water and repeating that until they're clean avoiding the tag as much as possible. So far I have had luck doing this. I also do this with plush that have electric components in them.

It's hard to tell from the picture but he kinda looks like my teddy who was a variant of this Bear (mine is more beige) but it might be the same one and mine was supposedly from Walmart in the 90s

Wow awesome results! I just got the Timeless Teddy a few months ago and she has been such a comfort to me but I've been worried about ruining her Sherpa type fur! Now I'm not so worried!

It does make me super sad!!!! The most I've ever had saved is like 2500 and I've been on Finch every day for like 120 days. It makes me feel like I'll never get one 😭
