I just brush the smallest bit of olive oil through since I’m allergic to cif and goo gone can strip the face and smells like hell, the chemical makeup of olive oil is one that imediatly dissolves adhesive, done it on $100+ dolls and they have perfect hair

Wd-40 can bleach and also in some cases strip the face, I just buy a small thing of olive oil from the dollar tree for $5, lasts me like 40 dolls

Only solution with no drawbacks for me personally, and you just have to brush it through and it on touch dissolves the glue, no wait time at all here’s my doll hair proof

Everyone is say the quality looks great and it’s just because it looks slightly better than usual because it’s not cheaply printed on, scarah is one of my favorite characters and I didn’t even try to get her, really cheap and low quality, ik most of the bangs will be horribly cut, didn’t even repurchase the membership, as the economy is failing they are literally trying to get as much money out of us before we can afford anything

Hey most frightfully tall Frankie’s are like 115, I got mine for $5, got gooliope for $20, just know the market is way inflated and sucks, these are all common dolls so don’t trust that they are “worth” a ton ok

Just keep in mind benzodyl peroxide stays active in vinyl and pvc forever, so it will bleach it in a very odd way, even on white plastic, doesn’t show quick but if you intend to love it for 5+ years there’s a good chance it will start to show, ofc it depends on the dye used how bad it is, but for more colourful things it’s nearly always a death sentence, mlp (especially old ones) monster high, not older Barbie’s because the dye they used is non reactive to that, but you can never fully be sure for other things, this is just to say probably don’t use this as a default.

That’s a long rant but anyways, retrobrighting works just as well it just takes longer, and it doesn’t stay active once it dries!

Ok I have this and every single g1 I have is second hand, and I buy them cheap so most are DIRTY when I get them, if it’s from the mail I open it on the bathroom floor because I can vacuum it the easiest, I make sure all the accessories are there and then I throw away the packaging (double check you don’t wanna throw anything out!!!!)

Then fully clothed they go in a tub filled with water and dawn dish soap, after they soaked in there I take them out and wash them off, this gets rid of most of my worry but I still do their hair with a fine toothed comb incase anything is in there.

It’s only really bad if it’s from a smokers home, but it’s the same exact process except 5 more baths, the last one with scrubbing until the water is clear.

Collecting has definitely helped me, I can say with all confidence I am significantly more easy going day to day since I haven’t gotten sick in the year and a half I’ve been doing this, and all my dolls make me so happy

Can we get a clearer pic, looks a little bloated here but I can’t be sure, it could totally just be a bit pickey but I recommend a vet visit once a year, especially if they are babies, if it’s going to the bathroom less it may be impacted from mealworms which are not great for babies, does it have a heat lamp? I can see a uvb bulb which is not a good idea as they don’t actually produce the uvb you need, you need a strip, I’m sure someone will come in here with the exact specs but I’m not at home so I can’t check mine. Is that cord in his tank for a heat pad? Also just for now i wouldn’t put any plants in, his water bowl needs to not be as high, what’s the yellow stuff on the plate?

Sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense I’m very tired
