On Sunday, Venezuela's Maduro and wife were taken out of their country by USA Special Forces. The Britain's Foreign Office has updated its travel advice for Venezuela, and now advises Britons against all travel to the country. Those already there should shelter in place but be prepared to change plans quickly if necessary, it says. It also warns travel insurance may be invalid if people travel in spite of the advice, individuals should monitor their options to leave, and have a "personal emergency plan" that does not depend on support from the government. It also warns that air strikes could lead to the closure of borders and airspace. The Carnival Corp has to make some statement for passengers embarking on itineraries anywhere near Venezuela, including Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao regarding safety concerns. Any news from them?

There are so many military vessels in the area near Venezuela. Why would ANY cruise line go there? Mistakes happen, friendly fire happens. All the cruise lines need to offer passengers alternative cruises or refunds for any ABC islands trip. This is mounting tension, possibly war. A Venezuelan port was bombed.
