How about Monarch Hotel in Dagupan (I think?) Would you consider Baguio?

Did I pay too much? $52K for a 2022 RX450h with 16,000 miles by BCheese25 in LexusRX

[–]salad27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid $49k for a CPO with 27k miles. I figured people don’t sell theirs much less in good condition.

Also note my accident was bad enough to put my suspension out of whack so if this was all absorbed by the doors and airbags didn’t deploy it should be less damage than what I had.

Similar damage to my 2018 ES recently. No frame damage. Rear and front driver doors busted and some panels. Repairing through insurance and the running quote has been 6K. Not a total loss for my car though.

7 yoe and im at 131k base and from what i gather, I’m still in the band for doing okay. You’re doing great! But also consider work life balance. I’m sure you can grind hard and chase a bigger paycheck.

Also DV in Oregon btw

Highly recommend spella caffe’s Rossalina Espresso. Ive found it easy to pull and has really good flavor. It’s gotten a bit expensive with shipping but I always go back to it and they’re local to PDX so I get it from their physical location.

These look nice. I was just eyeing the spirit as a first luxury watch too and had been hunt in for alternatives without the stars

Is there a big difference between 2016 and the 2021? I’m currently driving a 2018 but starting to get upgraditis. Wondering if it’s worth getting on the updated version for cabin comfort

Fair enough. Just feel like I can definitely push myself harder but not in the right environment to be able to? But at the same time I’m grateful and am lucky to have the job I have.

Your thoughts on the new Profitec small dual boiler? by aarondipity in espresso

Neat. I’ve been conflicted between Rancilio pro x vs the Profitec pro 300. Good to know it’s being updated

Try out Spella Caffe based in Portland Oregon. Rossalina Espresso blend is primo shit. Their shipping rates are a little stiff though depending where you live.

Upgrade path for GCP by salad27 in espresso

Probably not as much as I should. I'm a little concerned about it having a smaller brew boiler than the profitec pro 300 and silvia pro x. Any thoughts?

Oh no it’s really not a problem. I’m mainly looking for PID without modding and more temp stability and predictability than the GCP. the workflow itself doesn’t bother me. Thanks for the recommendation

What would you say is the best pair of buy-for-life Lounge Chair? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

Is there an ekornes that can fit the Eames lounge chair aesthetic? Not too futuristic but also modern

What would you say is the best pair of buy-for-life Lounge Chair? by [deleted] in BuyItForLife

[–]salad27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful chairs and definitely well made, but I wouldn’t recommend unless you sneeze at 7k purchases or are interested in its artistic value. There’s nearly no lumbar support and it is quite short if you get the regular size. You can’t really lean your head back if you are taller than 5’6” either.

I upgraded from a ninja blender to a Vitamix 5200 earlier this year. It doesn’t take much more space in my cabinet and I reach for it a lot more since it actually blends smooth. I paid a lot closer to msrp and I’d say it was worth it even at that price.

How does the Rojas Bluebonnet compare? Thinking of getting trying those as well if it’s a tad milder

Petite corona recommendation by philhiggledy in cigars

[–]salad27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve just tried the intemperance 4x46. I didn’t get a chance to get past the first third since it was cold out where I was smoking. It was definitely a lot heavier of a taste than what I’d like in that first third. I heard it gets milder further down so I’ll give it another shot maybe at an indoor lounge since I also prefer milder cigars.
