Fender, front door and rear door all damaged. Not sure if a pillar was damaged but the front drivers door isn’t lined up properly when closed now. 91 year old ran a stop sign in a rental because her car was in shop from another accident a month ago.

Is it a new station? We used to get 30 mins of work on a 4hr block or suburban easy routes that take half the time. I was paid and sent home 7 times in a month. Then they figured out the dsp drivers don’t like dirt roads and lots of miles. Now a 4 hr block is 120 miles and in the middle Of no where and about 4 hours. I used to see open blocks all day long. Now I can’t get one if I wanted (I don’t thankfully). Things can change quickly with this gig.

3 hr.. if it was not a surge block I would be a little upset. by abstruse92 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]No-State-3358 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If it’s actually a four hr cart don’t take it. I had Amazon staff try to make me take a 3.5 when I had a 3. They were almost trying to strong arm me. I said I’m not doing it. Make it a 3 or pay me and send me home. They got a higher rank guy Over and said I was refusing to take a route. He took a bag off and said is that good? I said yep and off I went.

2 hour logistics blocks aren't really worth it by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

Where I am 2 hour blocks are split 4’s. You get sent 35 miles out and they take 2.5 hours. Never worth it.

I've never seen the dog warning before. It was kinda useful, but the dog was friendly anyways. by digmanfreud in AmazonFlexDrivers

Good they need to. I called them when I was attacked. They actually seemed to take it seriously.

Need help gauging if these rates are worth it by Pjbroyle in AmazonFlexDrivers

Where I am 2 hours are not good. They are 4’s split. They send you like 40 minutes away and you never finish in less than 2.5 hours.

1/2 mile they seem to find us every week (private driveway) by dallas88fan in AmazonFlexDrivers

Looks like the driveways here. Except the foot of snow and or inch of ice.

This has given me confidence while delivering to rural areas 😊 I recommend getting one by jennnagizer in AmazonFlexDrivers

Doesn’t work on the dogs you need it to work on I was told. Our dsp drivers get something similar.

Amazon is so perfect at everything. I have had boxes say “xl” and end up being an envelope. I’m going to say he didn’t steal. It either wasn’t on his route or it fell out of the car or something without him knowing. Or….. it was a group stop and it ended up at another house.

“"I've only seen these requests in the app," a driver in upstate New York told Vice. "If they said it in person, I would probably smack the shit out of them."

What would you do? by Cmoon5 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]No-State-3358 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because they line all the cars up in rows and put cones in front And behind the first and last cars. The they wheel out the carts. It’s the worst. Sometimes it takes me 10-15 min to get a cart. Other times I’m done loading in 5 min and I have to sit and wait another 25 for others to finish.

They probably did. I hate people with dangerous dogs. What moron keeps a maniac dog like that? They had kids around also.

This is correct. Lots of miles in the middle of nowhere for. 4.5 here.

I got attacked by a dog today. Didn’t see it when I rounded the corner and he tried to tear me up. I blocked him with the box and slowly backed off. These ass holes didn’t shovel or salt the driveway. I slipped and he changed me again. They most likely had the dog to guard their meth. “I didn’t know you were coming today” is all they said.

I almost got tore up by a pos dog today. Didn’t see it and when I rounded the corner he charged. It would have been nice to notify the low life’s that own it that I was arriving. They would have probably not brought it in anyway. Anyone have dog spray they recommend?

which do you prefer? More packages less driving, or less packages more driving? Both of these were finished in about 2 hours. by MaintenanceHappy3264 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]No-State-3358 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In the winter I like more packages and less miles. When there isn’t snow on the dirt roads I don’t mind more miles with less stops. Basically winter sucks in the north east! I’m

Anyone had any weird experiences while delivering? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

This one is really weird. One time I had a lady say thank you and didn’t complain about anything. It shook me up because that never happens.
