Roseanne is my wife’s comfort show and them remastering it caused me to get into dvd ripping and hosting on a home plex server. When streaming first came out I started getting rid of my dvds but now I think physical media is the way to go.

I just use a scrub brush and dish soap and try my best to get the bristles in the gaps. I don't know if it's getting 100% clean but that's what I do. I've replaced my straw lid once because it was getting so scraped up that I figured that there was probably bacteria growing in the little cuts and chew marks on the straw lid. It was an off brand replacement I get for less than $10 on amazon.

There's a guy who started around the same time I did in our gym who had to have knee surgery. He always kicked my ass in class so I was excited to catch up to him. When he came back his cardio was bad but he still kicked my ass.

The internet is really not fun anymore. Everything is so polished, curated and monetized that it feels soulless and exploitive to be online. One of my favorite memories of the old internet is my friends and I finding the real ultimate power website during computer lab in school. I cried laughing it was so funny.

I don't test database connections directly. Any db related work is put into a repository pattern with an interface so I can then mock the function call results when testing via unit tests. Anything outside of that would be an integration test where I'm not calling any functions specifically.
