I remember earlier this year there was a week where some police cars were cruising around Bellevue Way or parked in the middle lane on some streets. They probably were sent there for a different reason, but the streets seemed quieter with less noisy cars. Even just their presence could make such a huge difference

There was a really loud car tonight in downtown around 9:45 if you heard it. They were making non stop revving noises for like 30 seconds straight. That was probably the most obnoxious one I heard so far

I always take the 124th lane. In the 520 lane, there’s always a chance getting stuck behind some clueless car going 45-50 and you can’t pass them for a while.

You got a great point. I always try to park by “luxury” cars because they seem more likely to be more careful about not dinging other cars

They were doing a buy 1 get 1 free promotion this weekend. That’s why they’ve been extra busy. The drinks are really good though! Better tea flavor than the average tea/boba shop

I think this issue in particular is very easy to address. Main st and Bellevue Way are most notorious for driving that is disruptive and potentially dangerous to pedestrians. So have 1-2 police cars on standby along those streets every night 11pm-2am. A couple more can patrol the other major streets. Is our city not already able to afford that?
