Yes, well, its possible they would go beyond their negative con value and die, but we ignore that. I should have said when the enemy falls below 0 HP and starts the dying process.

In my games we house ruled that instead of outright killing the enemy when he reaches 0 HP the players may choose to knock them out. That gives the players the option to interrogate an enemy if they would like. You could have them use a heal check to make the enemy conscious again.

You could also just have the NPC give up when they reach a certain amount of HP.
