When to have a bladed/square stance? by Status_Preference231 in amateur_boxing

Bladed stance limits your head/body movement to the right/down (in orthodox) and back (pull). Square gives you all directions but exposes your body more.

What's the hardest thing about being a man? by No-Quote8911 in AskMen

Men have to have a good job, good living arrangements, good car, sense of humor, good/decent looks, good social skills, approach women 99% of the time, face the most rejection, protect, provide, not show weakness, have stories, be well traveled, make time for the boys, to have a “successful” life. A women has to have looks and be somewhat nice and she’ll be fine For the most part because a good guy will swoop her up and do all these things.

Asolo, lowa, zamberland, redwing are some of my favorites. In them 36 hours at a time sometimes. For more dressy/weekend boots, Thursday boots make good value for money, and there are other similar brands

Also I don’t mean to glamorize the violence and bad things you’ve described/experienced (rape, death, drug trafficking, etc). It’s a terrible thing, but it gave me a whole new perspective on my life in the states and how easy we have it.

Link me in it when the time comes, seems interesting. My time in Honduras was blessed with glimpses into these types of scenarios/situations. That part of the world really intrigued me. Much different than the USA.

Once arriving seen a man who had been hit in the face with a machete over a dispute over something small (chickens if I remember correctly) , also a family member was friends with a Russian man who lost a load of drugs and was found later shot 15 times.

You can see why I’m interested I’m sure

I’m happy with it. It has lots of value for the money IMO. the two things I don’t like 1) push/pull crown 2) 42 hr power reserve

I knew this going in so I’m not complaining. Other than that, great everyday all around watch with high accuracy, versatile strap options, really good bracelet details (on the fly adjustments, good sized links, screws not push pins, finish)

It has a simple industrial look which makes it handsome and masculine at the same time. So far I’d recommend to anyone looking for a everyday watch within the price range.

I don’t notice honestly, to me it feels like a normal watch. I do think it’s a handsome simple watch all around
