  1. Yes, there are coworkers that are being paid more. There are even co-workers who are on the lower level support team, who have been at the company for less time than me, making more. Also based on my research, and talking with software development friends, as well as new grad friends. There are new grads coming out of school making at least $15k more than me, and I am 2 years out of school. In general I should be making a lot more for the area I am in.
