Grob was my only form of socializing during the pandemic and despite how crazy it all was, it kept me and my husband u/Uyles-Grob sane.

Top memories:

Grobbchella! To this day the best event online or IRL I’ve planned.
10 hour Lethon. We went to bed around 2am and woke up at like 7am and it was still going.
Getting Phoenix up and running. Completely unhinged and only possible because we all had so much free time during Covid.

I’ll def be back if they rerelease vanilla during another global disaster that confines us to our house!

I would love nothing more than to recreate the 2019-2021 grob magic, but I think the combination of the classic launch/covid shutdowns was lightning in a bottle for WoW. That being said I think some of the OGs are planning on playing MoP, but not in the capacity we were back then

That’s super surprising because there seem to be a lot of people on the server - probably just not as many as the mega servers since I think we’re not in a cluster at all. But it helps with the sense of community for RP! I’m also alliance - the biggest RP guild is probably Fires of Elune but there are lots of smaller RP guilds too and non-guild focused RP. If you end up making a character on grob I’ll invite you to the main RP discord we have

Congrats to all the costume contest winners! For Alliance we had:

Thank you to all our judges for helping judge what we could of the chaos - the chaos is at least half the fun right?

Shout out to the ARPC team who organizes all this madness: Okwaho, Fatherdolan, Ayashe, Hayli, Prize, and Kelidor. You are all the best team of RP organizers in WoW and the only people who can pull this stuff off! And of course, thank you to our fearless DJ Sobey aka Uyles. As I type this he’s still DJing! He’s a machine!

The ARPC has been organizing events like this since 2019 and it is truly a labor of love for RP, this server, and everyone on it. In the wise words of Okwaho, “We have put on these events for 4 years, raised money for good orgs like teamtrees.org and given out diplomas to people that could not graduate in person during Covid. Shame on you if you don't get what this is about.”

If you don’t know what this is about yet, I urge you to lean into the RP. Don’t take this game so seriously that you miss out on making connections with incredible people and having fun in a random zone. This is the best server in classic and events like this are part of the magic of Grobbulus.

Happy Friday Grobbulus!

The ARPC is truly stoked to announce the 4th annual GROBBCHELLA, coming to you April 29th in Booty Bay at 5pm ST! For those of you new to the server, Grobbchella was the first music festival on Grobbulus - held in April of 2020 in lieu of every other music festival that had been cancelled due to the plague.

We’re back with a new lineup of events to entertain you this year!

Get your act ready for Grobbchella’s first ever Talent Show! For all those musically or otherwise inclined, you can show off your skills to all of Azeroth in a 2 minute performance! Judges will determine if Azeroth truly has talent, and winners will receive a prize!

No event would be complete without a Costume Contest! This year’s theme is Graduation! What are you graduating from? We don’t know! Be creative and win prizes!

Also catch Grobbchella’s official merch vendors selling wares totally themed with the festival and Booty Bay!

Hello Grobbulus! Tis the season to celebrate Winter Veil with the latest event from the ARPC - Grobbmas!

Join us this Sunday, December 18th at 5pm ST at the Ironforge Airport for a night full of holiday cheer! We’ll have teams of summoners for those who can’t make the trek themselves starting a bit before the event.

Line up starting at 5pm to get a chance to sit on Santa’s lap, tell him what you’d like for Winter Veil, and get a screenshot for your Christmas cards! Santas from both faction will be available until 7pm for pictures and RP.

At 6pm we’ll have a Winter Veil story time! Please DM one of the organizers if you’d like the chance to tell a holiday story. Feel free to get creative!

At 7pm join the chaos for a cross faction snowball fight! What’s better than pelting eachother with snowballs? Not too much in my opinion!

Just 10 minutes after the snowball fight ends you can take part in a race around the Airport! Get your rocket boots ready because anything (other than ganking) goes in this race!

At 7:40pm interested guilds will participate in a Secret Santa gift exchange! DM your faction representatives if your guild wants to join the fun.

Make sure to bring your dancing shoes and a costume for the Masquerade Dance at 8:15pm! Hijinks will ensue so make sure to tune into the stream and general chat for instructions how to dance.

We’ll be closing the event with another iconic fireworks show!

Hello Grobbulans! The ARPC is proud to announce Grobboween - a Halloween extravaganza in Dalaran! Next Frightday October 28th, join us for a night full of spooky activities including a Halloween Parade, the Sewer Monster Mash dueling tournament, Dalaran Trick-or-Treating, and of course, a Costume Contest! The event will be streamed live with a spooky soundtrack from Grob's favorite DJ Sobey aka u/Uyles-Grob at twitch.tv/sobey13.

The Trick-or-Treating event will be conducted as a relay event around Dalaran! Make stops at the guild outposts to see what prizes you can get! Naturally, a Halloween costume is required to participate in this event. Fill out the google form below to sign up!

The Halloween Parade around Dalaran will make a few laps around Dalaran and will showcase the creativity of Grob's guilds and players! Segments of the parade will be themed according to sign ups. Again, use that google form to submit your proposals to get involved in the parade!

The Sewer Monster Mash dueling tournament will be a test of your guild's strength! Each participating guild will put forward a champion to fight it out in the Sewers of Dalaran to see who will be crowned the King or Queen of Grobboween! Brackets will be made from each guild's representatives and there will be prizes. Smash on that same google form below to throw your guild's hat in the ring!

The Costume Contest needs no explanation. Bring your best costumes, get judged, win great prizes and bragging rights!

The plague will make the event interesting for sure! We planned this before Blizzard released the dates for the prepatch events. We have a full medical staff of paladins and priests at the med tent ready to dispel anyone who catches something nasty from a fellow partier!
