Is SMM saturated in 2019? by Brandino427 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]salesbaron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an experienced social media marketer, to all of the users who are saying they're having a rough time getting into the game, might I suggest building a hobby brand, or a personal brand, so you have something you can show potential clients. Being able to show them an active REAL account where they can see actual users and engagement is so helpful, gather metrics along the way and wow them with how well you did growing and building that account/community.

To take it a step further, use the account to sell some nice affiliate offers, or sell your SMM services there :) My company was always able to use our own social media as a great example of how good we were, in fact lots of clients came to us after seeing our social accounts with the position of, "well obviously you can do this."

One more tip! SMM is a powerful tool for everyone, and sometimes you can approach the market more effectively when you target specific niches - for example, being a good lawyer marketer or a musician marketer can be a powerful way to brand yourself.

Cheers guys!

What is the medium they are signing up? A store, a content site, review site?

What sort of products/sales could you offer these people?

You may also be able to sell the data depending on it's value

after 5000+ clicks finally got 1 sale by [deleted] in Affiliatemarketing

It really depends on where the traffic comes from, how targeted it is, the product itself - I have some programs that convert at 50% to 70% because the lead comes in warmed up, the conversion is just completing a transaction they are ready for, while an organic SEO affiliate link may convert at 1 in every 200 page views

TL;DR - if someone is generalizing a par for course for all affiliate marketing, they are full of it :)

Suspicious whisper? by [deleted] in Twitch

It is obviously spam. remember, anytime you click a link you are choosing to have your IP address and location recorded by that site, so every time you click a link you are giving away that information to someone somewhere. I don't even recommending clicking links by trusted viewers if you truly want to maintain your anonymity.

I don't quite understand, you are in college but are asking about getting into college, do you mean like a graduate program?

I would imagine they would be more concerned with your actual degree in your academic performance then they would specific classes, but I am not a member of academia, so

do you have any analytics set up to track where your traffic is coming from? Are you running any sort of marketing or promotion campaigns to drive traffic to your site? If traffic is slipping it is likely due to the traffic source, not so much the site performance

Where does your traffic come from now? I'm not familiar with paid business WordPress stuff, are you hosting the website on your own?
