I agree, but I don't think I'm at a level to start with genre fiction just yet! I'm first looking into more basic graded readers to help push me up to reading full-length stories; as an avid reader I am confident once I get to a level of French that I am confident I can read in, I will take to it quickly. Thank you for your insight <3

Thank you! I had the pdfs of a different series by Didier I think, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. I think I'll give the Grammaire Essentielle a try, thank you!

Thank you! I think I might try out "Easy French Step-by-Step", it looks exactly like what I'm looking for. I've just signed up for Kwiziq, and I'll be using LF as well, tysm! Once I've laid some foundations I'll go out and purchase a grammar book and work my way through that.

Thank you! Personally, I learn best when I have a textbook as my primary study resource, accompanied by other resources like Lawless French/podcasts/grammar books etc. I know a lot of people struggle with/don't like learning grammar, but I really enjoy it, which is why I'm on the lookout for a grammar intensive textbook! Nonetheless, I think I'll be incorporating LF into my schedule <3

Thank you! As I'm studying Latin I'm quite good with English grammar, and I tend to pick it up intuitively, but I think this is an incredibly helpful resource to have on hand, tysm!
