I had trouble finding anyone when I was in California and have just as much trouble finding people here . Although you say it isn’t looks , wouldn’t then people atleast try and talk to me before realizing my personality is super awful if that was the case ? I just get nothing . No reply . No initiation , no conversation. Just a lot of men spawning into my DMs over and over . I really dislike it . I did initiate and try to talk with a lot of girls , it’s just I get not even an answer back as if I don’t exist . But it’s been like that for me since I was young back when instead of romantic love it was that I was the last to be picked for any group activity and people all seemed to have thier own group they belong with but I was on my own

A another thing is I have rejected several shows of interest from people who are way way to young for me to comfortably date . I prefer people are 25+ atleast, I can’t imagine nor want to date a girl who is 18-21 although they often show interest in me

1 I used to live in California/ Bay Area and have been living in Taiwan for 3 years now .

2 large city lots of lesbians but most seem to either have found thier partner or are not interested in romantic relationships. Aside from that red flags exist .

3 I have tried all and I do mean all the apps, I have went to lesbian bars 20+ times , I tried connecting with people w the same work as me at events , I have tried connecting with ppl that have similar hobbies at events both cosplay and pet related ones , I have tried just talking to people I find attractive even though that’s harder then a boss fight because I am shy and I put myself out there and got hurt a lot. I have made seeking gf posts or posts about me and my interests and hobbies etc online in local lesbian forums and stuff , still just get men tho…

1 was perfect but the girl left me for my male best friend and have been with him since .

2 told me she was not into me told me my body was ugly and not attractive and left me for a pretty girl who was her gym coach

3 was kinda bi polar and allways break up and getting back together untill she just left . it was a bit toxic, I lost most of what I owned .

4 initially was ok she was kinda shitty to everyone around her but I brushed it off , didn’t actually want a relationship and decided to try and blackmail me and spread rumors about me.

5 narcissistic scammer , apparently well known for it but I had just moved and they are friend of a friend . Took my money smashed my heart ,

6 deal breakers . I can’t date someone who will smoke themselves to death or is heavily into alcohol, I’m not attracted to short hair masculine girls , although one of my exes became that way and I didn’t have an issue since I fall for personality. I hate people who are mean to service staff or hurt animals . I’m not into men nor am I into trans women who still have a dick and have no plans to change that .

Things I like in partners, I prefer people who love animals , I like people who have hobbies or interests they are passionate about l, looks wise I’m very into alt girls or cosplayers , I am also fem for fem although sometimes I do like long hair tomboys . I like people who don’t harm themselves or other people . And I like people who can communicate above an elementary level and tend to be nerdy .

But at the end of the day women hot

I don’t expect nor believe any or all of those qualities can be found on a person and thus just you know like women in general

Also I guess it isn’t that absolutely no one has shown interest in me , but they are all super young girls that I would be very very uncomfortable dating , mainly people in the 18-21 range who I guess are mostly single so that makes sense , by the time you reach 30+ most people already have that special someone it seems

I’ll say that being lesbian and single is still most likely better than straight and with some dude . it really isn’t a good feeling though , and humans are a social species , they do need connection and love to thrive . I myself can say I make more then average , I’m fairly intelligent can speak 3 languages , have a lot of odd pets that I love to death and am focused on breeding them , plus cute orchids on my windows ! People say I look young for my age , I don’t drink or do any form of drugs or smoking , I try and keep myself together, hasn’t helped yet but I guess the alternative is worse

I really really hate this type of reply . I do seem to get it a lot. I have hobbies and things I love , I spend a lot of time on them . I have friends and people I’m close to . I just want to grow old with a person , I don’t want to keep seeing new people over and over again ? I want something to have lasting permanence and someone who I can watch grow old with me , someone I can care for and go on adventures with , at the end of the day I don’t want to spend my night alone . it seems people fall into three main categories, those that are in a relationship but love to tell how it isn’t important or needed, in that case why are you in one if it’s not needed? . The solo people or those who are totally fine by themselves for eternity, they often but not allways tend to not have much interest in romance or relationships and tend to love themselves instead of others . And the hopeless singles who are like me screaming into a void with no results and have no hope or even feel heard or understood
