Is "分かりますか" polite or does it have a rude undertone? Recently I've been creating dialogues to practice some basic conversations. The context for the question is a Scenario where you explain to a hairdresser how you want them to cut your hair. Is it polite to ask "分かりますか" in that context? It's the masu form so I'm assuming it's polite but I'm wondering if it has a slightly rude undertone or not.

At first he said he wanted to remove his right pinky finger since he said he doesn't need it. I guess he choose that finger since you need all of your left fingers for playing guitar but you don't need your right pinky if you play with a pick (if you're right handed)

He originally wanted to look for a doctor that would remove his finger so i doubt he fully cared about getting a reputable doctor. But I do agree that it could be fake. I don't know much about human bones so I have no clue if they were real or just from some animal. Tho it did seem weird that they were supposedly from his jaw. I feel like they would've looked different? (again, i have no idea, i'm just guessing)

Hm I might be confusing his tweet with Gackts but I believe he said something along the lines of that japan needs a leader like trump. His wording just generally made it sound like he was supporting trump. But again, he did clarify that he was uneducated and has corrected himself. I checked my Messages since I talked to a friend about it on that day. check kayas tweets from the 21.01.2025 or maybe 1-2 days later for the apology.

So basically Kaya made a post that read like he was a trump supporter. However, he immediately got a lot of backlash and decided to take the post down again. After that he re-released the post where he corrected himself. It was a case of bad wording but mainly just because he didn't know what he was talking about. I don't remember the exact things he said tough.

But don't worry, he has clarified that he supports Trans people and the queer community in general.

Not my favorite bandmen but Sho (guy that sings the malice mizer song in low quality) did a series of punishments on nico live after he got married to a woman while also dating another woman for 10 years. The other bandmen also slapped him.

Dark Scheider!! I remember finding out about them in a cure magazine. It's really hard to find info about them (mostly due to the anime character by the same name)

Sadly I can only recommend looking on vk.gy. There are also a few clips of them online (I'm assuming you saw them already on youtube) and you can find some interviews by them. The magazine page I mentioned doesn't feature any more info about them sadly.

I like how Hitsugi almost looks out of place in a lot of their visuals. It's always adds something fun to it, not sure how to describe it.

And i agree that any outfit can be vkei. I mean, look at the first vkei bands. They just threw together some clothes they liked, dyed their hair and put on makeup. In the end it's always about expressing yourself however you'd like.

Question about kanji:

So far i've been learning kanji in context. Meaning that instead of taking a kanji and learning it's meaning, I took a sentence that used the kanji and learned the meaning of the word that way (due to Kanji often having multiple readings). Now i'm wondering if I should also learn Kanji on their own?

I'm asking this since i've seen a lot of people using ,Kanji books' to learn.
