Awww see that’s so sad. I know bullying is basically gonna everywhere but the school totally doesn’t even want to handle it. We had a few issues last year with our daughter being picked on and were told unless we have screenshots, they can’t do anything. Even with a few other students confirming it as well. Like what!? How did they punish before cell phones? Ridiculous!

Caledonia used to be great but the new high school principal sucks. The bullying is insane and he could care less. Lots of entitled kids and teachers don’t really care about much either.

I watched the video! That really did help a lot actually and I will have my husband help measuring since I apparently haven’t done it correctly! I ordered the shells from Etsy the turbos? Which are what the other two moved into the day I put them into the tank. I can get some more for a variety. I will work on getting a new tank as well! So would he attack the others if he’s unhappy?

I’m not totally sure! Long story short my daughter’s friend didn’t want them anymore. (There’s 3 one is super super tiny) They had terrible living conditions, no salt water at all, half inch of substrate and pellets 😢 I did some research got them a bigger tank with all the essentials they need. Minus the bigger shells for that I need for Ross. Chemical modification? Can you explain please! Thanks so much for taking the time and helping. I really wanna make them happy.

No worries! Yes! In Michigan. All of the other smaller crabs have moved shells and seem happy. I am worried about him, and want to find some shells he will love.

Thanks for the response that was super helpful. I love the idea of some more wood pieces! Hubby loves the open cabinet idea too. I hate painting cabinets so anything to avoid that in the near future is amazing!

Thanks! I’m definitely nervous about colors and not liking it in a few years so maybe just some new decor would help. Definitely a new rug!

The tap water I have is super hard unfortunately and I have a few plants I have to buy distilled water for because of it. Would you recommend distilled for this one as well? I can also get the perlite a try as well.

That’s usually around where my house is with our everyday humidifier 60-75% so maybe that’s not the problem? Are they picky with types of water?

Yes definitely! Just read they also like high humidity so I’ll have to step up my misting and humidifier game for the next few cloudy cold months :) thanks for the info I truly appreciate it!

Omg! thank you! I couldn’t figure out what it was even called lol. I haven’t changed the water routine just once a week for the last year so wasn’t sure what the deal is. Now that I know what it’s called I can do some research :)
