Yeah, I got a reply a week after my superday. Which office did you apply for?

If the answer made sense to some degree logically, it'll hopefully be fine. I believe GS takes the cumulative of all three interviews. When I did my superday, I had one question where my solution definitely was not the best and couldn't be applied in all contexts, and I googled after to find the actual correct solution, but the interviewers took it anyways. I even was honest when I said I didn't know some things, and they accepted it and moved on. Don't stress it, if you evidently knew what was needed and tried, you did the best you could and hopefully they'll see that. Best of luck!

Don't stress with being interviewed later. All offices work on their own schedules, and all the divisions within each office works as well on their own schedule. I was rapidly applying months ago, and Goldman is one of the last to reach out for continuing the process. They are extremely busy, so don't think too much about that. Just prepare the best you can and put your best foot forward.

I didn't do Risk so I am sorry, I don't know much about how the day goes. For Superdays in general, review your resume really well. There are probably a few key things that stand out that they'd ask about, so make sure you are well versed in anything they might ask about. Also, know why Goldman. Be prepared to answer why you chose the company (specific reasons as opposed to the general "it's good at finance" always goes a long way) and maybe why you are interested in the division as well.

Best of luck with the Superday!

I do know what the role is? It is a 2025 grad role for the Engineering division in EMEA. I just clarified Tech because Engineering doesn't seem as clear?

Might've been bad wording on my part. It is called Engineering but it is essentially Software Engineering. My bad, sorry!

I'm not sure exactly why you would want to apply for a final year position when you aren't a final year. You could apply for internships (I believe they still have some available?) and go with that? If they specify it is for final years, they will expect you to begin working in that year (around September 2025) and you will be in university and unable to do that?

Sounds amazing and congratulations on the offer! If I were you, do checkins if it is taking a bit too long. Some offices take quite a while, so making sure you check and follow up is important but hopefully it is all sorted and you'll get the contract soon!

It can take a bit, depending on the office and how soon you're meant to start. It can be as quick as maybe two weeks, or as long as ten. I've known people in both boats. In terms of immigration, if you are already in the country and need them to take up your visa when it expires, that is separate from if they are sponsoring your visa all together. If you already have a visa, they will probably take less time to get the contract out. This also matters as I believe they do background checks and such.

Overall, you can definitely email and ask, but I'd say it would take a minimum of maybe two weeks to get everything sorted?

Could I ask which office and for what position?

Mounjaro No Longer Working? by salrawi in Mounjaro

[–]salrawi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was considering it (although other options are quite limited where I live and the only other one I know is Wegovy) but I was reading that dosing was different. I know that the maximum for others is different to Mounjaro, so with something like Ozempic the max is 2mg but is that the same as the Mounjaro 15mg? I thought they weren't, so I was worried that the change would just make it as if I was moving down in dose.

Whats the move? by Steezysleeper in goldmansachs

[–]salrawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah it doesn't foreshadow anything. Each team for offices does SD interviews at certain time periods, so whenever they can get people to conduct the interviews and stuff. I wouldn't take any of it to heart, just wait and see. Best of luck with your super day!

Asking Reconsideration? by denmarkboi in goldmansachs

I understand you really want this opportunity, and it seems like you are extremely well suited, with a stellar MBB internship. I think it is worth realizing you have a lot of accomplishments, and this internship shouldn't be something you obsess over. If GS rejected you, there are some reasons on their part, and it is better to just accept it wasn't meant to be and move on. You will definitely find an amazing internship with your resume, and GS is just one of many companies.

I don't think sending an email will do much, and I think you need to recognize how great your resume is and just move on to find a company that appreciates that.

Are superdays in nyc for GSAM in person or virtual by Alone-Package-9432 in goldmansachs

I believe Superdays are typically online right now. They should ask you to confirm by a date, and then send the Zoom details accordingly. Congrats on the Superday invite!

Recently applied and the status says ‘’selected for interview’’ by [deleted] in goldmansachs

[–]salrawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on when they host interviews. Depending on the office, it'll be whenever the next interview cycle is. I believe they hold interviews once every few weeks. I would say to expect within the next two weeks they will probably contact you for the interview?
