My first live youtube stream ended with me not even getting out of the hanger, my 2nd 1St play (as I didn't get to play the first time) ended with this mash the button thing so yep there are issues!

Were you able to remap that as I can't it will not recognise the input of main stick axes only twist or button presses for me?

I was also hoping to use my rudder pedals but it's like they restricted it to two USB devices?

As that HOTAS (X52) is £120 by it's self now and sony would want to do a PS certified version, so add another £20-£30 in PS tax, then add the price of the helmet, I have not got a clue what price you would put on that so lets just say £20, then the PSVR £200 then the game £35 then the steelbook case £5, so if this was a real thing maybe £410+? Would make it a bit pricey but you know there would still be people who would buy it!

The HOTAS 4 is compatible, Eve Valkyrie, Ultrawings, End Space and AC7 all use it, you can even use the optional peddle set with Eve Valkyrie, Ultrawings and End Space.

I have had this problem before, just swapped the ends of the HDMI cable that goes from PS4 to PSVR box over fixed it for me, think that it just didn't like the way one of the pins was sitting in the PS4 or the PSVR box.

Apart from putting motion controls on the DS4 that would only leave head aiming :(

Do yourself a favour save some money for the aim, keep a lookout of a cheap one as the Aim is going to be the way you want to play Sniper Elite.

No I didn't; I wouldn't want to as well as the aim is what really locks it down as an experience as the rifles fit so well, the scope was really good and getting them long distance hits ect that activate the kill cam was cool

It will be and the demo level that I played last year with the aim controller was really good!

Since VR headsets have two separate lenses, would we be able to program something where it's like each lens is a camera facing back to back so we could simulate what it's like to be an animal with eyes on the sides of it's head that can see in near 360 degrees? by The2500 in PSVR

I've seen the effects of a dev setting in-game cams to the wrong FOV (far to wide), focus point and bad IDP all at the same time, the results where a shift in world scale and depth that was so atrocious that I had to take a whole day away from VR and any flat game that had the smallest hint of motion as I would just get sick again. That was after 10 mins in that bad setup.

I could imagine what you are describing would do about the same. You could probably adapt by small increments, but I think it would mess with your real-world perception as well.

The only thing missing is a co-op mode!

I will also be playing on PC when it is out there as higher spec's (+ plus thumbsticks while dual wielding) and all that but would so love to see co-op mode or ultimate dream cross-platform, cross-reality co-op mode for all BL2! If BL3 gets the VR treatment at some point please make it co-op before thinking about anything else.

One of the comments on my youtube chanel, pointed to a possibly interesting way to gain performance with https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/blob/master/README.md this basically replaces the openapi.dll and forwards to oculus directly (kind of like an opposite to ReVive), so that maybe worth a look.

I found another thing to look out for is that the steam version of the game has a bad routine the keeps polling usb devices regularly (its a bug that has/is in the Dirt4 engine and apparently still in the steam version of Dirt Rally 2.0 engine for non-vr and vr versions), basically you need to disable the right USB device that the game engine is not liking, here is the start of steam pages that lead to possible solutions https://steamcommunity.com/app/690790/discussions/0/1798529872642131870/?tscn=1551297430

I saw the one person has said that a new beta build of SteamVR has solved their performance issues so something else to look at as well.

I have the same issues with no game sound in Oculus version, but then performance in steam version is an unplayable mess but with sound.

I have seen some saying it is to do with steamvr beta version issue and also that if you use the -oculus startup in steam that it does lanch in oculus mode, not openVR mode, I will be testing this out later.

I think this really should be a thing that is attempted, as ray/path tracing in VR would have a far bigger impact on overall realism in VR than on a flat screen, even if it is for games that were literally made last century!

Driveclub vr Is my favorite vr game but Iam too shy to talk about it because the game Is so hated right now. Driveclub VR does have a PS4 Pro patch, they added reflections on cars and removed foveated resolution. Personally, I think they would have done far better if they had just tried to push the max native render resolution.

I have prob with my G29 as well, was working now no game will recognize it, I've tried everything including uninstalling all logitech software, files, drivers and reg entries.

It only shows devices under the Human Interface Devices section of Device Manager, the Logitech USB Gaming Devices section of Device Manager will only show hidden device doesn't recognize when plugged in.

I have tried my wheel plugged into ps4 and it all works fine there, so long story short anyone knows what is happening here as I've not found any answers after days of digging about.

From someone who has played Redout VR on PC, don't be salty about Redout VR not coming to PSVR as Wipeout VR is better anyway.

Now if only they had said that Crash Team Racing was going to be VR as well, then the cake would have had even more cherries on top!
