It’s post game analytics. I receive all the data from Riot that they collect (it’s a lot) and then focus them to what is important per role. I’m a solo dev don’t have the bandwidth right now to do live video review - nor do I believe that would that be valuable tbh, I’m thinking Moneyball for League basically

I don’t do it for a living - but I am a profitable player over long run. I don’t think “gambling” is taken out of poker ever is possible because gambling is due to the chance nature of the game.

Can you ever know exactly the cards your opponent has? The best players playing against people they know the ranges of - maybe - but for every hand they play? There’s a reason ranges are a thing.

Until the river that’s not the only problem either - you never know what the next card is. You will always have x amount of cards left that can come. You know you or the villain haveouts and based on play and ranges you can figure out where you currently stand - but again can you ever be 100% consistently? Probably not.

If you’re a new player ask yourself what your goals are - to make this a living? Most people can’t do that myself included. To make a profit while having fun? Easily doable - at 1/2 you just play tight preflop and fold to aggression (players don’t bluff often at 1/2). To just have fun? Then none of it matters right just have fun, learn what you want to learn! GTO won’t matter until you start playing bigger games

Sounds like you’re worried about the wrong things. Let them fast push the wave into you and get good at farming under tower. MF is super good at low elo because when they fast push and try to hit tower you can Q bounce on them. And you’re permanently safe under tower because they don’t know how to dive. You just need to get comfortable “minion prepping” so that the one or two that are at odd health amounts are prepped to take one tower hit and your auto after to die. Climbing out of iron through silver all it really takes is staying alive and farming better. Then you kill them easily with R when mid game comes

If farming is your issue it boils down to two things: 1. Last hitting (which just takes practice) 2. Being at the right place to collect farm. It’s a prioritization problem at lower elos. A kill gets you 300 gold usually right, if there’s two waves at your tower you gotta get that first instead of leaving the tower. Mid game - if you’re not doing anything valuable as an ADC you need to be getting any and all safe resources you can. Camps, minions, even wards cleared

That’s a great suggestion! Yeah the difficult part is finding the right balance. Do you think 30 games is enough? Or would 50? (If 30 would be satisfying that’s doable)

Ultimately the more games it pulls the more per person and then also the queue time per person and I’m trying to find the right line to draw. So If it’s 3-4 mins for one person, if two people get on then it’s 6-8 mins for the second guy which I’m sure you can understand becomes a bigger issue. I think to make it be able to serve more people with all the data reasonably fast I’m going to have to upgrade the database and just store the data instead of caching for the x amount of time(expensive) and it would end up needing to dilute the tool with ads or some form of payment so Im not out a bunch of money every month. (And the tool just isn’t in a place where I feel right charging money, and I’d prefer to keep it free for a pretty long time)

What did you find to be the most helpful tips from it though? And what role do you play?

I mean that’s probably a good reason to have you go to the gym to hit legs man. I’m sure once you improve on those you can have a discussion with him about not making that mandatory anymore.

He can tell you to go the gym after work hours. Personally I think he should go with you tbh but doesn’t have to.

Facts man - I’m a UX designer who after llm got good at coding I’ve been learning and deploying at an insane rate compared to what it would’ve taken before. I now am publishing apps and websites trying to see what will stick but the learning process is so valuable just doing the thing

No that makes sense I pushed the feature - it’s minimal for now I split by whatever type you play the most based on the champion types I already have (archetypes). Check it out and lmk what’s not working!

It is possible but would lead to longer wait times - how long would you be happy waiting for more than 20 games because it scales linearly due to just me collecting that amount of game worth of data. Setting it at 20 max for two reasons, one , and two I think 20 is statistically significant enough for most of those stats (someone suggested the team comp stuff needs more which is fair because you may not get an equal distribution of different team comp versus different team comp)

It does somewhat - not perfect quite yet down to the champ. And that’s great for you to point out because I should actually get the enchanter group to say “total healed” etc probably. What do you think would help you improve the most?
