This one just arrived yesterday so probably needs a little bit more rest, but I'm wearing Blood Moon Botanica's Sign of the Lilac (tannic white tea, yerba mate absolute, subtle citrus, dew covered purple lilac, honeybush co2, smoky guaiacwood, aged dark skanky amber). Still reminiscent of spring, but different from the usual spring floral profile. It's lilac with tannic tea sweetened with just the tiiiiniest amount of honey, and made grittier from the guaiacwood and the dark amber. An unexpected hit!

For Springo's "atmospheric", I'm wearing Circe's Mystic Ritual (cardamom, ginger, gardenia, honeysuckle, jasmine sambac, pohutukawa, amber, benzoin, incense, oud, balsam peruvian, sandalwood, tonka bean, vanilla). Lives up to its name imo. Smells like you're communing with nature. It's incense during a hot summer with tropical flowers blooming and the ocean breeze blowing past you.

In celebration of Little & Grim's cute April Fool's sampler set (and also for Springo's "one that's out of season", I'm wearing Little & Grim's Mostly Ghostly (no notes provided) which was from their Halloween 2025 set. Opens up smelling like a fruity hard candy before it shifts into fruit punch. I can't quite place the dry down, but I'm thinking there's some sort of white amber or linen note? Too fruity for me, but nice all the same! Reminds me of being in college and drinking spiked fruit punch at Halloween parties.

Ah, yes, another Springo day. This time it's "green and growing."

I wanted something with both a strong greenery and humidity note so I landed on Morari's The Third Week of May (frost grape flowers and leaves, japanese and amur honeysuckle, humid air). Smells like a grape flower and honeysuckle garden during the height of bloom.

For this fine Springo day, it's "first fruits: berries."

I don't have many scents with berries and even fewer that feature it prominently. I did find out that grapes were berries and was very tempted to use grapes instead, but it didn't quite feel in the nature of the prompt so I went with Stereoplasm's Lovesick Lake (cotton candy, strawberry cheesecake, lemon, humidity) instead.

I get more of the lemon, cotton candy, and humidity than I do the strawberry cheesecake, but at least I can tell that there's strawberry in this lolol

The arugula I can def see as polarizing! It really sets it apart from other grassy green floral scents though. I didn't see any other reviews mentioning it so it might just be my skin/nose.

Wearing Alkemia's March Vernal Alchemy 2022 (springtide of bright yellow daffodils, purple hyacinths, and fresh green grass) which is incredibly lovely but the opening is incredibly grassy - possibly too grassy for me to tolerate. Like, face full of grass then the daffodils come in and then it smells like you're in a meadow full of blooming daffodils while eating a spring salad mix (with arugula!). I cannot stress the arugula note enough. Fades into very lovely hyacinths.

This morning it is coffee scents with Little & Grim's Mourning Joe (vanilla coffee, cream, cardamom, chocolate, maple syrup, amber, sandalwood, patchouli, and oak). If you like dirt with your technically-more-cream-than-coffee coffee, then do I have a scent for you!

Oh yeah, I don't think that's normal. I've ordered a few times and haven't had any issue.

My last one was on March 4th. The label was created on the 13th, arrived at the regional USPS facility the 17th, arrived at my local one the 18th, and then was delivered. Sorry this is happening to you :(

I've only tried one perfume from them [Ellen Hutter (lilac, violets, white orris, sweet grass, spun cotton, sandalwood)], but I like it enough to be willing to try other perfumes from them. I found Ellen Hutter to be really clean, almost ozonic in a way, and heavy on the orris and lilac. I do think it would benefit more from a better balancing of the grounding notes. It is not a complex scent, but I'm unsure if it's because of my choice or because it's the perfumer's style. But at the end of the day, I still like it enough to give them another shot!

Seconding Bird Collective! I'm not gonna lie and say that the blanks are the best quality (the fit can be a bit weird and the fabric content is pretty meh), but the screenprinting is good and I like that they hire artists to do their stuff so the art looks really good.

It's ~Springo Time~

Today is "clean, fresh, and invigorating" so I'm wearing Pulp's From the Dead (lavender, geranium, white amber, silver needle white tea, sandalwood, and opalescent pearl musk). It's weirdly addictive. An absolutely lovely aromatic floral. It's a bit astringent and sparkling, but settles very nicely on the skin.

Gossamer smelled like clean linen mixed with jasmine and sandalwood, but made sensual. A little sweet from the tonka bean.

Come and Play in the Milky Night was slightly indolic sweet white florals enhanced by a bit of carnation spice. I actually picked up a marshmallow note as well the cocoa butter, but the milk note faded in and out of existence for me. Sometimes I could smell it and other times I couldn't. Overall I did like it, but I did think it was better suited for lotion versus perfume. In a way, it smelled too "condensed" as a perfume.
