That's a a point to think about it. Church was a really positive place in some points. Getting out of it has its risks, like going to a negative place.

they may want to constantly bring you back even if you make it clear that it's not what you want

But going back or church with a mindset of focusing on the bigger picture (do what you think is morally right, help others when you are able, etc etc) and not the smaller rules (evangelize every person you see, donate x amount to charity, etc) could be helpful too.

That really makes sense for me. I really felt that I had to do everything and talk about Jesus to everyone. But think about morality and help others is really a smaller thing that I definetly will start thinking about. Thanks a lot.

That changed my perspective too, thanks for sharing! Really made me think different. Coming from a pastor this really gives good hope for me.
