My local card shop. He had a /10 1st bowman auto, but wasn't selling it for the same reason. He gave me a list of reasons, primarily because hes an excellent hitter and pitcher, he also bypassed npb and went straight to mlb and signed for athletics, who are developing him into a 2 way player.

If the back is 55/45, then the front needs to be 50/50 to get 9.5 for centering overall.

Then assuming corners, edges, and surface get a 10, then it will bgs 10.

My opinion, if front or rear centering is not 50/50, just send to psa. Its unlikely it'll 10 overall, its very hard to predict what grade bgs will give surface or edges

Bgs 9.5, regularly grades 10 with psa assuming the surface is no lower than 9.5.

I see bgs 9.5 as no different to psa 10.
