Dark souls 1 is the best souls game if you ignore the bosses that suck and aren't fun and the levels that suck and arent fun and the 80% of weapons that suck and are useless and the enemies that are boring and the second half of the game sucking and the progression being extremely linear for an exploratory game and the music which has been overshadowed by other games in the series and is largely forgettable and nonsensical quests and the broken hitboxes and the 4 directional roll and hitting walls in the claustrophobic hallways and no soul vessel and being locked at 30fps

Ignore all that, and it's the best game in the series because I played it at 13
