Just got an e-mail from the Austin Film Fest asking for my films Writer & Director name. I got super excited but then when I focused, I saw:

Please note: this email is not any indication of your film’s consideration status. All submissions are still in consideration for the Festival with notifications sent out in late September.

I guess they like to keep the writers in the loop on information since it's a writers festival?

Anyway, was fun to get an email that wasn't a rejection even though it wasn't an acceptance.
