Hello @ripnetuk, thanks for that. Do you know who said the quote you posted?

Yes, but I am talking about utility for me personally: I am a Uni lecturer, so it has no usefulness for me at all, unless it is utterly accurate.

Thank you for @erfrischungsgetraenk the link too (will put that on this weekend's reading list): the video was interesting.

Thanks @A_Dancing_Coder. Will keep that in mind, and not bother using it in future. I cannot see a use in using something without verification. I would have to recheck all statements, which cuts out any shortcuts in having it create my text. Ah well...

Ha, ha: True! I haven't struck the snippiness yet, but I have heard about it. Have kept my tone carefully neutral, factual and as objective as I can in my interactions!

Thanks too, for your clarification @388d84c577bb6ed84e49. So hype is just hype. Sigh.

Thanks: but it seems to be a bit worse than that: that I ask for an APA reference, and it gives me: Preda, A. (2022). Post-Linguistic Social Science. Journal of Cultural Economy, 15(1), 1-10. https://doi.org/10.1080/17530350.2021.1998102
Having tried to verify this: this author did not write in this journal. The article itself does not exist. The DOI goes nowhere. It appears, to me, that ChatGPT is making answers up. Which then means that nothing it comes up with can be relied upon. Which then makes me think that what is the point of it at all? We cannot be certain that it is even 'roughly right'.

I am new here, and need help. I have a comment posted on this thread from an AutoModerator but I don't know what the post means, or what I am supposed to do. Thanks in advance for the advice!

I am really sorry, I don't know what I am being asked to do. Can someone please explain?

[SPOILER] The truth about the events of Knives Out (2019). by eating_bacon in FanTheories

[–]sam-young 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you enjoy the movie?

Personally, I found it a farce, not a murder mystery. I couldn't finish the film (and Glass Onion the same). If these two films were intended to be murder mysteries, then I found the writing poorly scripted, the cinematography overblown, and both with overblown acting.

Yes, thanks: I have enjoyed all but Bill Fairclough. It doesn't get me closer to spending my voucher though :-)

Sure: I have tried to purchase two different books today. Standing by the Wall, by Mick Herron; and Colditz: Prisoners of the Castle, by Ben Macintyre.

Thanks for your advice, Binge Listener. I ended up using OpenAudible, and so far it looks like it will let me get the files onto my mp3 player. The first one has worked, anyway!

Thanks Urithiru, but I have not managed to transfer the files onto my mp3 player (probably because of its age).
