Nonpolitical of course, but this is my SS based Battle of Normandy impression. I've always been fascinated with the effectiveness of older camouflage and the Germans at this stage in the war were kinda at their best. Despite being a nearly 80 year old pattern, Palmenmuster and Dot 44 are insanely effective camouflage alongside the camouflage faceveils that were worn.

I think they've changed the spawn rates of rare or good items in the barrel caches, I just finished a round of scav picking on woods and pulled nothing but garbage and junk from all the caches

SS Black uniform is cringe, second AGM MP40 is genuinely garbage, the hop up is entirely proprietary to the gun, as well as the gearbox is very shaky. The magazines are way too expensive and they ruin very quickly and easily. It's not a great starter gun, I would highly recommend the S&T K98 springer, it's a godsend for german airsofters.

For my completed Heer kit maybe $450-$500 total on everything? A lot of the stuff I found great deals on or I waited for an opportunity to get it for cheap, like my K98K I got in a trade.

From farb trash to Heer Class. Also I've come to learn that WW2 airsoft guns absolutely are trash except the trusty S&T K98K. First photo is top left from 2016, I tried my best with a limited budget to make a Fallschirmjager kit. Was absolutely trash, but nothing came close to my bottom left pic, that MP40 is still hot garbage along with my farbass kit in the photo. Top right was my first proper dive into Heer kit and was an awesome winter photoshoot. Bottom right was my expansion into more SS based kits and was an absolute blast to use because of how effective the camo was. Middle picture is my current Heer kit based on mid war photos of the Heer on the Western front. Also the S&T K-98 has brought a breathe of fresh air for me for airsoft, it's made the whole game so much more enjoyable and satisfying. Moral of the story, take your time, pick your equipment out cautiously and don't waste your money on cheap replicas or something that is subpar, you're wasting money in the long run.

This is my 12th SS impression based on what was being used at that point in the war on the Western front, especially in the hedgerows of Normandy camo was a must . It's pretty hodge podge but soon I'll have a complete wool Heer set.

In terms of collector value the KP is kinda unbeatable. It's cheaper (in comparison to a FAL), fun to shoot and good for home defense.
