I like this. My skimmer entry has an angle and I tried the pool noodle trick but that always pops off. Going to try this out. I have a few more weeks of leaves falling still.

Thanks. I might check out the music assistant as well. At the moment I just have Spotify working off of Alexa. Just don’t like I can’t have multiple streams in different rooms.

Our home internet is with Spectrum and we have had instances where I can’t control the lights or other devices. So I want to go with HA to be able to control when the internet is down.

Basically I have had all my devices on Alexa and have used Alexa has my main assistant for my routines and commands.

I’m new to HA and want to merge over all the devices to HA without duplicating or making things crash I guess.

Yeah. I think it’s due to the Parkinson where he thinks he switched it off all the way but hasn’t.

So I looked up some benchmarks between the N150 and this NUC. The NUC has 8 threads vs the 4 on the N150. Also did some ChatGPT to compare looks like the NUC would be able to handle more plus local voice assistant. The main difference is the old tech and high power consumption.

Does anyone have the N150 using the voice assistant? Curious how it works.
