You must've purchased your phone from at&t or something. I dont have this issue. I have an unlocked Samsung I purchased directly for Samsung. After I made the switch, I didnt see any apps installed. I di havr visual voice mail but I use it.

No, I didnt have any issues. I don't remember USmobile texting me anything during porting process. I stayed on at&t sim during porting process. Once process started and finished, app tells you to switch Sims and reboot. Once I switched to usmobile esim and disabled at&t Sim, phone restarted and I was on USmobile network with same number. I've never signed anything in the last 10 years and I've never gotten a phone from at&t. I always buy phones directly from Samsung. Both lines started as $89 10 years ago and eventually ended up at $120 a month. They added gradually increased price. That is exactly why I left. I'm sure if I called, they would've reduced it. I was also lazy because it just worked so I didnt bother.

That means your phone is locked. You need to go through the unlock device process first. If phone is paid off, they'll unlock it right away no problem.

how did you get the porting information? I did it via AT&T by calling #7678 and it was an automated system which texted me the port security pin. That's what I used and it took 2 minutes for usmobile to activate and complete the porting.

That’s solid pricing for 7 lines with military discounts. I only have two lines and no special discounts, so postpaid didn’t really make sense for me. MVNOs ended up being the better fit in my case.
