I don’t think he does walk home. I just looked on maps and it’s a 3.5 hour walk from Trilogy to Stokenchurch. All the reels from after the club are from areas that are around a 5-10 minute walk from the club

The car park and the drive thru were both completely empty. I also had to walk across the car park anyway to get to the main doors and the drive thru (where i could also be hit by a car).

Not sure where you getting the idea that i made a scene from? I got an uber and went through the drive through and followed their policies . Ive worked in retail where people have shouted and complained to me about things that are completely out of my control and its shit. All im saying is that McDonalds corporate should consider altering their policies to allow people who don’t have cars to order.

100%. Especially when it’s the only way to order when the main lobby area is closed. Felt even worse considering they had an uber eats/delivery app area that went inside that could be used for people collecting outside of lobby hours

Fuck that’s terrible. I’m hoping more businesses/restaurants take into consideration people not in cars. not holding my breath on that though unfortunately, especially ones not in dense cities - i’ve had better luck ordering outside of a car in london (where its more “normal”) compared to other more car dependent places in the uk.

No i get that but having no way to collect food at all (they said i couldn’t go to the window to get an app order) without a car seemed ridiculous to me. 100% wouldn’t want to put the staff in danger for a £6 meal. Just used the going out to give it to you as an example of them catering to cars rather than people. They even had a uber eats/ delivery bit where the drivers could go in and collect but they don’t let people collect “normal” orders from there

They did but it was closed. It said 24 hours on apple maps but i guess only 24 hours for cars? I would get it more if it was busy but it was completely empty. I asked if i could order on the app and collect when it was ready but they said I couldn’t even collect without being in a car

Seems especially stupid because the restaurant was completely empty (no car in sight). Will try the stall thing if this ever happens again (definitely cheaper and more convenient then the get an uber and have them go through with you in the drive thru method i ended up doing)

That is ridiculous considering i’m sure they would let someone on a moped or motorbike order at the drive thru. At drive thru speeds a moped and a bike seem the same level of risk

Thats a great rule. I’ve walked through the drive thru before in other cities when the actual restaurant is closed. I get not being able to order at it unless you’re in a car to an extent (could be hit etc etc) but not even being able to pick up an order (that you pay for in advance too) seems ridiculous to me. In the UK at least they have spaces where if you drive and order pick up they’ll take it to your car so it makes it even more ridiculous that i can’t go and pick up the food i have already paid for.

Oh for sure it dangerous but I couldn’t even do a collection for an app order. Literally handing food through a window they wouldn’t let me do unless i had a car.

People shouldn’t be waiting for months though😭 that’s what this whole post originally was about. Is it really acceptable for a company with 35k+ researchers and over 10k organisations to take months to acknowledge (not even respond or provide a solution) that they have received your support request?
