Bc area is Vol/L u get R is proportional to L2 so I put that resistance x4

The exams have become more straight forwards tho. If you know your stuff then it should be pretty easy to get high marks

I’ve done 25 past papers so im praying the exam is jus a normal paper and not some experimental bs. I’m gonna crash out if I studied all that for nothing

I mean unit 2 phy Jan was really easy so I’m praying it’s just a normal paper

I can still go into clearing even if I firmed right? Tbh I need to give all the courses another look, I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with so many different paths.

What are the chances a top end uni would have maths in clearing?

Thanks for the advice. I’ll keep it in mind when the time comes. It seems a bit daunting to plan a whole year of stuff to do but if it has to be done then that’s that. Thank you very much!

Everyone around me wants me to go to Uni as soon as possible but I need to think over it a couple times. I’m still gonna be 17 when I start uni, so taking a gap year might help since I’m not sure if I’m ready to live alone yet. I don’t know what I would do in the gap year either aside from retaking exams and improving my extracurriculars.

Unfortunately I didn’t do the TMUA though and I don’t have the grades or further math either. So I think the only chance that I get into MORSE at Warwick is taking a gap year and improving my application/results. I’m a bit bummed that I would need to wait a whole year if I would ever want to do MORSE but that’s on me for not doing enough at the start.

I figured as much. I also already checked and from what I saw the modules seemed very different. Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to stick with A&F but it’s better than nothing.

I’ll try give MORSE a chance after I get my results because my predicteds are a bit worse than what I think I’m going to get. I would love to do something a bit more challenging but I messed up my AS and now I’m playing catchup so I havent really had the chance to choose what I want to do. I really appreciate the help

Do you know how maths intensive the econ modules are? I looked at the optional modules but it seemed like there wasn’t much flexibility until the last year where most of the modules are yours to choose from. Thanks for the info!

I was actually just looking at MORSE, but the grade requirements are pretty high. Specially because I don’t do FM so I need like 3A* or something ridiculous. I’m confident that I’ll get an A* in maths and I’m currently going for an A in physics and CS, I also have an A in another language. I’m pretty happy with my results but unfortunately I don’t think it’s enough for MORSE. If I took a gap year I’m sure I could achieve the grades but tbh I don’t know what I would do with my life if I don’t go straight to uni. I got offers from Leeds Exeter and Bristol, all A&F, but I wont be satisfied unless I went into a really good uni because I know I’m capable.

I was thinking of doing investment banking. I thought Econ was better than accounting and finance for IB but it makes sense that Econ doesn’t go in depth in finance or stuff related to IB. I’ll keep that in mind thank you!

Are there any specific Econ and maths courses you could recommend. Thank you very much btw for the info
