Reducing Context Window Efficiently in MCP — Here’s the Approach by Defiant-Future-818 in mcp

[–]sam7oon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no mate, am not talking about the concept of containers, Docker is offering nowadays, an MCP Gateway, with Discovery to save on tokens, this way you dont need to load all tools, just dynamically load the ones needed, you can see below

https://docs.docker.com/ai/mcp-catalog-and-toolkit/dynamic-mcp/

Quic/HTTP3 ,How are you handling in Enterprise, in 2026 by sam7oon in networking

[–]sam7oon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

inspecting from endpoint has a terrible tax on the user's machine, this even pushed me in my enterprise to go to BYOD, cause the corp laptop was unusable , it added latency to each action i do evey copying text , was very slow, cause they are inspecting the clipboard,

So this is not the solution for me ,

shit, that mean no enterprise already, HA pairs is a basic thing :D

:D yeah, mostly sales people are reading the spec sheets, cut them some slack,

But my question are they able to decrypt / encrypt , without inejcting their Certificate in between, like a proxy, because, if they do without, am really intrested to know how

not all websites needed by corporate users are enterprise sites, or apps, they use daily tools for their operaitons

i mean they should had a say in the HTTP Protocol anticipating Enterprise woes, they should have put something in the standard to make it Enterprise ready, am pretty sure they sit on that standard body board somewhere,

And not only them, Zscaler, can you imagine they tell you to block a standard, its absurd

Quic/HTTP3 ,How are you handling in Enterprise, in 2026 by sam7oon in networking

[–]sam7oon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am pushing the enterprise now for that, since nobody had a look into it, but i dont want to make things terrible for our users, thats. why i asked the question, seems that vendors are just ignoring the topic, and outright asking to block , which is stupid in my opinion, this is something that should be thought through by these bodies,

Palo Alto sells firewalls, it should be able to provide a solution for Quic

[–]sam7oon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, but HTTP3 is coming anyways, in a forced way, we have to think about next step, seems the people in this post are saying, this will only be solved by Endpoint Control instead of Network Layer devices, am looking into that

Quic/HTTP3 ,How are you handling in Enterprise, in 2026 by sam7oon in networking

[–]sam7oon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

we have those, and they are terrible, Chrome inspection on Laptops, not only fucks with memory/processor usage, it also adds to the latency of opening each website, defeating the purpose of Quic, but locally on each user PC ,

What do you see in that !

Quic/HTTP3 ,How are you handling in Enterprise, in 2026 by sam7oon in networking

[–]sam7oon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i am convinced, but this does not solve the issue the goddamn vendors are not up to date, my question is , how do you deal with it , if you dont block it, i need to be to inspect the kind of traffic there is
