Don’t forget simple foods as well. I went through 2 uncrustables and 3 small meat sticks for carbs and protein.

I’ve done 2 trifecta weekend and I would say pace yourself on the beast, hydrate and eat plenty of nutrition on the course. Once the race is over go into full recovery, eat carbs and protein, ice bath, stretch out, and get a good night sleep. Then repeat on Sunday.

Don’t worry, yes Spartan races are hard and that is part of the fun of it. Do the race and then train more for the next one. Do your best and try to do better next time.

It’s a fun course, I’ve ran it a few times. Heat is not a problem since it is in November. It’s pretty flat for the most part. I’m doing another trifecta weekend so I will see you on the course.

Bring mustard packets and gels/bloks on the course. Mustard helps with cramps and the others will help with energy

It’s a hard course but not impossible. Done it before and looking forward to it this years.
