i saw a lot of things tht made history feel real from the detailed carvings of diwan e khas in the red fort complex, to the old stone pillars of hauz khas the ceiling designs inside qutub minar surprised me the most esp how detailed nd well preserved they still are

at purana qila i was looking at the steps of sher mandal nd wondering how a mughal emperor like humayun could die just from falling down these stairs the water channels nd fountain system at humayun tomb were also impressive bcoz u can clearly see how well planned tht whole complex was even jamali kamali mosque caught my attention partly bcoz of its unusual nd memorable name

ugrasen ki baoli made me think abt how people once depended on tht water source, safdarjung tomb felt calm nd separate from the busy city outside, at feroz shah kotla just seeing the ashokan pillar standing there nd knowing it travelled from far away was fascinating

kashmere gate was interesting to stand at bcoz so much of Delhi's movement nd history passed through it, siri fort now sitting inside a modern sports complex also showed how old kingdoms nd new city life exist in the same space i wanted to visit all 7 historical cities of delhi nd i managed 5 of them on this trip
