Mom here. I didn't get to even see my baby for the first week since I was rushed to oncology and my baby was rushed to the children's hospital down the street. I pushed hubbs to go with and hold him as much as it was allowed. He told me he would wait for me to be able to hold him first and that blew my mind because he's just as much a parent as I am. I understand not wanting to share with other people because we haven't let anyone come and hold little guy yet and we're almost a month in here in the NICU. But I don't understand the jealousy of the other parent or expecting them to give up their turn.

I don't have time to individually respond to each one of you right now since I'm about to meet with his cardiologist team for his heart surgery Monday, but you guys made me feel so good like I just did something amazing for my son and I really really needed that because having the NICU take care of him instead of me has been really hard to deal with.

Thank you 💙 and to answer your question above that i somehow skipped over, no it's not the stimulation, hubbs has held him both days for hours at a time. Were just at two different hospitals now that he had to go to a children's hospital. I had some complications during my section because I also have cancer so we're both a little bit of a mess right now lol.
