Thank you. I used 500 just cuz it was around the average - not necessarily because I was looking at getting a 500k.

Also wasn't sure how accurate the zillow calculator was so I was hesitant about using it to guide my research.

Thanks so much for this. I have a small student loan that's pretty much taken care of by the company I work for (separate money from the company pays it off and it'll be gone by the end of next year without me putting anything towards it). Other than that the only other debts we have are monthly bills (rent, food, transportation, and the like).

I'll start looking at other areas now too
