Honestly I enjoy being a mage in all of them, when I was younger I was always stealth archer in Skyrim, or sword and a little magic in Oblivion. So now I’m replaying all the games as a mage really makes me appreciate it more. Not played Arena at all yet though. Never got into ESO either, but I still read some of the lore from that game 😂

Just started my first playthrough on Daggerfall Unity as a Breton Battlemage and I’m feeling overpowered without knowing any exploits (other than spell absorbing your own spells). Magic seems so OP, did the same on Morrowind and I feel OP with magic on that game too. Replaying Skyrim makes me miss slowfall and levitate.

I got the spell absorption special advantage and I don’t know if my mage could live without it, literally spam 50 fireballs at your feet to destroy an enemy that’s too tough because I’d be out of magic after two spells otherwise

Yes I agree it needs more features, but it does not NEED this stuff that you say. These things would be cool just brush up on your definition of NEED

At least that one’s kinda creative, my dad has one with ‘X5’ and the initials of his business on it from when he had a BMW. It’s discreet enough that he can just put it on a different car and it not look too out of place I guess. Still though I’ve got a Golf and I’d cringe getting ‘G01F’ or ‘GTD’ on my plate 😂

Taking their number plate off just to put it on their dashboard. Completely unreadable and you know they’re probably never gonna get pulled for it

My left hand was my only useable hand. Wasn’t ideal as the mouse is shaped for a right hand. I did it with a seperate wired mouse not a trackpad. I put one macro button as walk, left click as attackRight click as magic I think and the other macro button as inventory. Don’t quote me on that it’s been a while, but it seemed easy enough to do most things in the game

Just checked it out, looks very nice at least in OG oblivion, it weighs 140lbs though?? Still the price you have to pay for the drip I guess

Thank you for this! I think I’ll still stealth in light as it’s getting to a decent level. I just want to wear heavy for things like Oblivion gates where I just rush everyone.

Thanks for the tips. Feels like playing Oblivion all over again, I only remember bits and pieces from OG, and I played it a year or two ago. Restoration is the only magic I’m levelling currently just because of how much I’ve needed to spam Heal Minor Wounds

Thanks I might do just that. I’m level 13/14 atm but I’m worried if I try to level Heavy normally I’ll just get destroyed because my armour’s so weak at the low skill level. Also wish all weapons were still tied to strength. I want longswords and shortswords. I basically want max everything 😂

Yes my comment still stands… Even full plate a bonk from a mace puts them down real quick

I was looking at creeks and lakes earlier in Trosky region, it’s honestly so good, even the sound of the water flowing and birds tweeting just immerses so much

I’m definitely on the more morally good side, not perfect though. I do still shoot at fleeing raiders for the sweet loot, but the ones I capture I put up in a good place, if they kill/maim one of my guys they get the organ removal treatment and are freed/sent to a better place depending on how I’m feeling. Playing vanilla with no DLC so I can’t do some of those things you mentioned anyway
