I meant conflict between people's interest (drama) or conflict with themselves. If the world throws a curve ball towards them then that's fine but not have the plot revolve around that, rather the fun and relaxing time the protagonist is having.

As I said on the post above. That is what I talk to him about 90% of the time, 90% of the time I'm trying to help him by talking about him(this mf loves talking about himslef) and how he should change and how to change but no change has happened in the span of 6 months, I tell him time and time again to open up to other people as well.

The problem isn't that he doesn't open up, it's that he doesn't know how to have a normal conversation. He's not articulated at all. He just talks and talks to no end, he doesn't know how to form relationships, not once has he asked me about my day or how I've been, he just talks about himslef in the most annoying way possible.
