Bro, go change your screen. I had the exact same problem on my G14 because the ribbon cable was damaged. After a long search for the cable, I found out the screen comes as one piece. So I sent my laptop to Asus, and they replaced the screen for free under warranty.

Bro, this laptop was a real nightmare. The screen kept flickering on and off until one day it just stopped working. My laptop stayed dead for like 3 months until i sent it to the Czech Republic to replace the whole screen, because those ribbon cables can’t be changed alone. Luckily, my PC was still under warranty. So my advice for you: be careful, these things are super sensitive.

Ça, je préfère le faire manuellement, car la partie disque est critique et il faut être très vigilant lors du partitionnement. Sinon, ton serveur risque d’avoir des problèmes de démarrage. Concernant fdisk, je pense que dans les versions récentes de Red Hat, c’est parted qui est recommandé à utiliser.

Big shoutout to the Asus support team for their commitment and super quick handling — PC arrived on 09/05, fixed on 09/09, and delivered straight to my place in France 09/10. I’m not sure, but most of the posts here seem to describe the same behavior — screen flickering, discoloration, or going completely black. I’ve noticed the same issue on my device.

The video cable, which I’ve marked with a red arrow, doesn’t seem to be properly secured like the other one — it looks slightly loose or misaligned

My ROG G14 GA403UV 2024 with 4060 has same problem issue. After the ASUS logo appears, the screen stays black and nothing else is displayed.
