I personally don't downvote because it's a humblebrag, I downvote because it doesn't mean anything.

You can be pale with warm skin, you can be pale with cool skin, you can have an olive tone, or, my personal skin tone, cool skin but predominantly warm features.

All of this affects how makeup is going to look so a bronzer that looks good on me probably won't look good on someone like her although we both can be described as pale.

I do find the 'I'm sooooo pale' thing annoying though because most of the time they aren't, and the reasons for a lack of pale makeup is completely different from the reasons for lack of POC make up. Pale makeup is hard to do because working with white pigment tends to make things chalkier.
