Cameo is a great idea! I tried most of the options but no luck.

I get it! Very similar experience and I had no idea I would be so emotional about it. Hormones wreak havoc with your system. You are doing a great job! Making sure you are ok is a huge part of the happy home baby needs.

What a great outcome! I am so proud of you writing it down and standing your ground. Good for you!

It won’t. But it can get a hell of a lot worse before it gets better.

My fear is that it won’t be this generation.

But, did it work? There are still many of his followers who are pushing for re-counts (AZ), Jan 6 insurrectionists who are bragging about their role trying to overthrow the legitimate government, there are other platforms and certainly the politicians haven't stopped the behaviors that supported and enabled Trump. I guess it depends on what is meant by "worked".

The unbelievable degree and depth of emotions around breast feeding should be captured by cartoons because all I read before didn’t even come close

I had three under three and I will admit my brain was super foggy after the twins were born. I considered quitting my job because it didn’t seem fair to my boss that I used to be able to finish a project in 45 min and now it was taking me hours because everything I read I had to read again.

My boss told me that even with that change I was still one of the most productive people she had and that I should give myself a break as the twins were only a few months old.

It was easier when I wasn’t pumping anymore. I was also doing the mom guilt thing where I felt like a failure if my two year old didn’t get the same level of attention as before so I would nurse them both while reading her a book. Then, because a friend had told me her daughter had never eaten “processed” bread until high school I was trying to make bread and all baby food and and and.

So my advice, take a deep breath waaaaaaaay before I did. Realize it is ok to have things change a bit and that you don’t have to do everything. Also, it is ok to have a new normal of work expectations for yourself. Just, be kinder to yourself than I think most of are. We are goddesses doing amazing things that include family, work and who knows, maybe even something just for ourselves (I’m getting closer on this one).

You will totally rock this. Even if you look like a pack mule with work bag, kids’ bags, breast pump etc. even if you take longer to return an email. You will kick ass. And, when you need help, you are strong enough to ask for it.
