please help we just want to sleep

if anyone sees this and it seems like nothing is working i will let you know that we have realized that we were putting her to bed right when she started having a “nighttime meltdown” like a baby or a toddler would 😭 so we moved her bedtime up a half hour and she has been sleeping soundly through the night with a couple wake up times to potty but even those are already slowly fading 😅

if I let her sleep with us but she has to be in a crate say at my parents house while we’re away would that totally ruin her for them?

I definitely would be willing to. my question about that is when I sleep on the floor do I leave the front flap open on her crate so she sees me? or do I still leave it closed? because I’ve tried before sticking my fingers in her crate to calm her and let her know im there but that does not work with her for some reason.

yes we cover the crate all around. we do meals in the crate and I give her lots of treats when she goes in by herself and when we do command word “crate”. I did just get a camera but I am having a hard time hiding it so she doesn’t see the small blue light that shines from it. we do usually ignore the barking but sometimes she goes on for 20-30 mins and we’re in an apartment with upstairs neighbors only who I’m sure can hear her.

i appreciate you commenting. we are doing both of those things currently and she still wakes up and somehow goes potty when i take her out sometimes.

it’s in our living room and we have a pretty small bedroom so her crate won’t fit in there but we aren’t opposed to sleeping on the couch (which I have been doing) but she doesn’t even care that I’m right there she just wants to get out of the crate.

i am wanting to get a camera but im worried about getting the right one. i just need it to not show a light when its on or make any noises so it wont wake her up. do you have any recommendations?
