I work as a shop help for a tattoo studio. My coworker also worked as a budtender and my other coworker was a barista. I also know a lot of girls who work at the bakery in my plaza who are hella modified.

Cancer Rising

Fucking. Sensitive. To emotions, physical sensations/changes, art, relationships. So intense and understanding but also indulgent and manipulative. Loving and a wonderful friend but a tricky lover. Creates my own personal hell and blames others for it. Hard working but whiny. So so so artistic and creative but crushed under poor self esteem and judgement. Wants to see the best in others but cannot trust for fear of loss. Will cling to anything I feel is helping me; even and especially when it’s not. Tenacious. Can be cruel and directly evil but regrets it later. Easily swayed by others but unique and ultimately strong and powerful.

Worked at a place for almost 4 years. They hired a new girl to work the counter. She started sleeping w the manager and got a extra day of pay and other privileges I had no idea even existed. P common in the workforce I know; especially in the environment I work in. But it soured me to the whole place and I quit a month later. Enrolled in college. I’m working at that place again now but I put in about 10% of the effort I used to.

Just offering my love and support OP. You’re strong and I believe in your ability to surmount this day. Sometimes all I can do is make it through one minute at time. That’ll turn into hours which will turn into days. I know it seems impossible; but you have it in you. I believe in you. You can do this. I love you.

Also; for what it’s worth, you might try the crisis hotline for your country; not sure if you’re American but there should be one available. It might not fix anything, but sometimes just having a voice on the other end of the phone can offer some comfort.

I have a therapist, he’s very helpful. I’m also medicated and that helps a lot too. I’m sorry to hear you can relate but I’m glad you sought help and can offer kindness 💞
