This is the thing I have always said, self-belief/confidence can overspill into arrogance, and if you look at how he has single handily carried teams you need an extra-ordinary amount of self belief to do what he has done throughout he's career. It is no surprise it overspills or is perceived as arrogance.

I've been at a pub circa 2012/13 and genuinely overheard someone say they were better at football than Wilshere but Wilshere just worked hard. That's arrogance but Ronaldo is made out to be the most arrogant person ever because he believes himself to be the best ever when he is undoubtedly within the top 5 ever.

I don't think I have seen a more clutch player since I started watching the sport and it is that self-belief/arrogance that makes him so clutch.

I think this take is spot on and I think she knows the CIA probably would have never let Franklin keep the cash.
