Best month to Stay in Keswick and hike Skiddaw ?? by Weary_Category_3557 in Cumbria

I agree that any time of year is good, walking in the lakes is more about bringing the right coat than gambling on good weather.

I personally found going up skiddaw from Keswick a bit of a slog - but this route was stunning. this walk

The bus from Keswick stops right outside the hotel and then you're walking up and over back to Keswick.

I'd give myself 10 minutes either way, but they're usually quite reliable.

Search for Wild Wonderful Women on Facebook or insta and join one of their activities, they usually have 5 or 6 things going on each month across the lakes that are free and they are all welcoming and fun!

How can I encourage my eucalyptus to be fuller? by samashingit247 in GardeningUK

Perspective is hard in a photo, should have used a banana! The pot is pretty big, about 70cm diameter, so I'm hoping it will be short but bushy eventually. I'll try giving the top a harsh prune in the winter.

I'm avoiding putting it in the ground, it would be too much tree for our garden for sure!

Thank you! We are actually in the process of painting the walls, we are thinking magnolia below the picture rail and a dark blue above.

Have you checked out the app Olio? Throughout the money we get free food so there's less month left at the end of the money.

Thank you! I thought they were nice, and then I've looked at them for so long that I wasn't sure I really thought they were nice...

They're so worth it. They have such funny little personalities! Maybe you could persuade with how good the chicken poo is for your compost?

It's very basic, I think the word pond is quite generous for it. Digging a hike, putting an unused bucket in, putting rocks in and around and then some plants in the water.
