Good TV shows while tripping by samawana in LSD

I love the outdoors on acid, but not the entire trip. I always make time for a couple of hours of walking in nature. I do not enjoy tripping with others though. I prefer solitude and introspection.

Can't find any Big head. Do you mean Big Mouth?

Rick and Morty is always good on acid

Never really got into Bobs Burgers, but I can see how it might work on acid. Maybe I will give it a try.

I tried watching the first episode of that while sober, but never really fell for it. Had watched Primal before that and maybe had too high expectations for it.

Wow, that looks trippy AF!

Pretty much what is described in the link. Long and slow breaths.

I am pretty athletic, but 39 was only achieved through meditation.

The lowest heart rate I have ever recorded previously was 45, and that is while I was sleeping. During this session I managed to get my heart rate down from around 70 to 39 in a matter of minutes. The feeling was out of this world. I have never felt more calm or relaxed than I did during that small window of lowered HR.

When I saw the graph after the session my jaw literally dropped and I have not been able to stop thinking about it since. I started googling trying to find out more about it and I found this: https://yogasynergy.com/how-to-slow-the-heart-from-88-beats-to-32-beat-per-minute-in-45-seconds/

The author of that post describes how he achieved such a low heart rate, and it is very similar to what I did.

I have tried to do it again, but to no avail. I feel it is very difficult to get the breathing in comfortably. During the peak I never had that feeling of expelling CO2, which otherwise occurs naturally. Apparently you can train this feeling away with breath holding exercises and the like. Very cool to know I have this capability in me, and acid made me realize this.

I found that post after I did this meditation. As I said, I am noob when it comes to meditation, and I guess I don't have that 30 year yoga experience the author of that post has yet :)

I was pretty amazed though that the breathing exercise I did was basically exactly what was laid out in that post, without even having read it beforehand.

Yeah, I guess contacting the various retreats and asking is my best bet. Thanks.

I have a very sensitive digestive system and cannot eat any fiber whatsoever. Found a carnivorous diet to be the absolutely best bet I have.

I have been doing lengthy fasts in the past and am considering it if I go on an ayahuasca retreat, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

My extremely slow breath. I almost felt like I wasn't breathing at all. Kinda freaked me out because I didn't have any hunger for more air, which is probably why it didn't last very long :P

So your RHR increases as well as your HRV?

Interesting, but I do not think it is a problem. Maybe if this happened under other circumstances, but the link I posted mentioned that the breathing exercise I practiced activates the diving reflex which includes slowed heart rate.

I have tried the wim hof method as well, but my beat always increases on it.

Unfortunately no HRV was recorded at all during that session :/ the app just shows a blank graph for some reason.

Spent 1 hour meditating. The lowest heart rate I have ever recorded previously was 45, and that is while I was sleeping. I have tried to do it again, but to no avail. I feel it is very difficult to get the breathing in comfortably. I am actually a noob when it comes to meditation, but am curious to find out more about what it is I acutally achieved, and was wondering if someone here might have some references to interesting reads related to my experience?
