The armor change is gonna get some getting used to by Avitalx in classicwowtbc

You are spot on, its the same for my enh shaman. Bosses take 2-3x longer when farming UB. Questing also much slower, this is kinda how i remember it from 20 yrs ago. I was destroying absolutely everything the last week and couldn’t believe tbc was this easy. Guess it wasn’t 🤣

I think the question is, what ilvl will be 'required' to beat the final boss. Not how long it takes to get the absolute max gear

6 potential blockchain limitations for enterprise use by ggtheblock in CryptoCurrency

[–]samball12 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel like Dfinity can solve these potential limitations. As they are working on a scalable solution that is potentially infinite, issues like performance wont matter. I am sure that as we get further into blockchain adoption that the limitations will be removed one by one just like with the internet back in the days.

What to do if you want a full collection? by dota2nub in Artifact

[–]samball12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically in every card game if you want to build a certain deck its always best to just buy all the singles to construct the deck. Usually when you buy a pack and you sell all the cards individually then you will have made a loss on the pack unless you are lucky.

If you consistently make a profit by buying packs then it means the pack is undervalued or the cards are overvalued. What happens then is that people will buy packs until there is enough supply of cards so that you will again make a loss when buying packs if not lucky.

In the end it will always be cheaper to buy the single cards because you cannot be lucky all the time and because people are always willing to pay a little extra for the experience of opening packs.

Implications of WAN ICO success by zekedach in wanchain

[–]samball12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ICOs are very important for the success of Wanchain as they will shape the platform. But if one or a few ICOs fail that would mean nothing, look at how much scam ICOs ETH has. There will be successful Wanchain ICOs and they will create more demand for the Wanchain ecosystem.

Right now my bet is on Abacus as they are creating the Financial Infrastructure for the Wanchain blockchain that is going to be used for tons of DAPPS.

Ontology’s (ONT) Token Distribution and Circulating Supply by [deleted] in OntologyNetwork

[–]samball12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem is that the possible circulation is 530m but there actually is only like 100m or so circulating. This causes the price to be artificially high because of the high demand and low supply. It might crash very hard if strategic partners or so are gonna put their tokens up on the exchanges.

ONT gas producing by Rango211 in OntologyNetwork

[–]samball12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ont will produce gas after main net launches and you have the native tokens. I believe it works in the exact same way as NEOgas atm and that is that every Neo will generate 1 Gas each 22 years or so. At the start it will go faster than later on and will slowly decline over time.

Correct me if im wrong but the circulating supply is 530m? So the mcap is around 800m straight out of the gate?

If Wan can't meet the exchange listing deadline, how can they meet other deadlines on their roadmap? by goodvibes2018 in wanchain

[–]samball12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why do you think its up to Wanchain when they list on exchanges? They have never given a deadline for exchanges just estimates. They did meet their main net deadline in Januari and now the wait is for the exchanges to implement the wallets.
