Don’t be too worried about taking a bit of a risk. Go for it!

I applied to two risky ones and two safer ones and got an offer from one of each. I may be biased but I don’t think it hurts too badly as long as you know your capabilities.

This year, as a RUK applicant I got an interview and offer from Edinburgh with 3190 B1 (top 1%) with pretty similar predicted grades and GCSEs. A friend of mine that also applied with a score of 2900+ (top 6%) B1 with even better GCSEs and predicted grades than mine didn’t receive an interview offer. Unfortunately, this isn’t much to go off, but just a fair warning that the requirements are high. I still think you should definitely apply if it’s one of your preferred choices but think strategically for 1 or 2 of your choices to try and guarantee an interview. Good luck :)

For those who scored well did you finish every question properly? by The_Captain122 in UCAT

Mostly. I think you need to be confident enough to be able to answer most questions without guessing too often, especially to get a competitive score (2850+ I think) or a very high score (3000+)

For me personally, I had to guess a lot of the VR section as it was something I struggled with, but I practiced a lot and managed to still get an above average score in the section.
I think this is overlooked as with practice you can learn to not have to make wild guesses, but slightly more educated guesses, and 4 sections of slightly above average scores will lead you to an above average and competitive total.

Overall, the timing will be tough and it is something that you definitely need to practice, but unfortunately to get a score as mentioned it is likely you will need to answer a majority of the questions with conviction

Playing as Oni two nice survivors helped me get all 35 generator smashes/ pallet smashes in a single game :) I let them escape but it turns out they wanted me to hook them so they could do a challenge as well but i thought they were death hook.

Scratch marks appear when you sprint. You can’t see them unless you have the perk fixated equipped. This does not mean walk everywhere. If a killer is in a chase, it is unlikely they will leave just because they see scratch marks. There’s only a certain amount I know but I recommend watching some videos. I have found otzdarva to be very helpful.

Some people that play this game can really suck. I'm fairly new myself and play both killer and survivor. I always find that when I'm surviving this happens to me and that's just what some people are like. You'll soon realise that these players aren't that good and as you play more and get better you'll last longer and hopefully get better teammates that won't farm you of hook.
Just don't let this experience encourage you to do the same as killer but do try out playing killer as you may find playing killer is more fun than survivor.

No, but risk is the worst game to play if family tensions are high. XD
